Bloom mirrors the artistic process and allows us to reflect on our growth as artists. Starting from an idea we have in our heads, to sketching it onto paper, and the countless hours spent polishing our works, this process is showcased in every piece. All of us are not the same artist from when we first started and we will never cease being students as we yearn to improve in our mediums, but for now we take this moment to celebrate each other’s artworks. On behalf of CSULB’s Animation BFA Class of 2021, thank you to our peers, professors, and the countless others that have inspired us to keep creating. To the viewer, we hope our work offers you a moment of peace, allows you to reflect on your worldview as an artist, and reminds you to appreciate the “bloom” process as much as we did.
